Dark Divas Reviews is about giving frank and honest opinions of romance books. The Dark Diva Staff includes several authors, and we are all avid readers of all genres of romance.

Owner

A.J. has a Doctor of Education and currently works as a counselor at an institution of higher education. She has traveled the world extensively including Brazil, Europe, The Netherlands, China, Thailand, Australia, Germany, and Italy to name a few. In addition to English, she is fluent in three other languages. A.J. is a voracious reader and enjoys reading erotic romance, anything paranormal, fantasy, and historical. When she's not reading or traveling, she spends time with her friends and family. She enjoys cooking, crocheting, movies, playing volleyball and tennis, relaxing outdoors, and music. At one time, she was a part-time DJ for country western station. A.J. often over multi-tasks if there is such a thing and her friends have a tendency to consider her a perfectionist. Hello everyone my name is Deb; I have been a lover of romance since my first book at the tender age of 13. That is why I have been reviewing for over 7 years. I am quirky, passionate. I am a wife to a wonderful man and mother of 2 girls. Hobbies for me besides reading include scrap booking, card making, spending a lot of time outdoors with my family. Jae has been an insatiable reader of romance novels for many years. She enjoys reading just about any sub-category of romance she can get her hands on so long as there is a happily ever after to be found at the end. She loves traveling with the characters through their journeys and resolutions. After deciding that a career in law wasn't for her, she has just started a brand new company and she is currently working on her very first erotic romance novel. She currently lives in the sunny south where she gets to wear sandals all year round yet never seems to get a tan.

My name is Kathy and I’m so excited to be here at Dark Diva Reviews. I’m married to a great fella who’s learned to put up with my idiosyncrasies; 25+ years will do that. We have four wonderful children only one of whom is still at home... for now. I’ve been babysitting from my home for 18 years or more and still enjoy the challenge of keeping young children busy... or is that I’m busy keeping children? :grin:

I’m an avid reader and have been as long as I can remember. I read just about anything, except for horror... my imagination tends to take over; I’m definitely not a fan. But my favourite genre is romance; be it m/m or m/f all I need is the HEA. Sometimes even a well-done HFN. Watching as two, or sometimes even three, people fall in love makes my world a lovelier place. Whether it’s erotic, paranormal, fantasy, sci-fi, contemporary or historical it’s all good.

I've been reading romances since I snuck into my Mum's stash at a very early age...what can I say, even as a child, I liked my stories a little naughty. I'm a fan of HEA and really it's about the only thing I absolutely expect from a book, the rest is pretty open for debate. I live in Ottawa, Ontario Canada and can actually consider myself a citizen of the world. I've lived in the U.S., Asia and now for the last 17 years in Canada. Needless to say, Ottawa feels like home after the many years of travel and the countless schools I've attended over the years. I may be a little shy in my everyday life but when it comes to my reading, I like to let loose. Give me heat and give me spice because that's the only way to go. Hi there! I am Amy, and I live in Northern Indiana with my husband, three sons and one daughter. I spend my day being a stay-at-home mom, working part time from home, shuttling the kids from practice, doctor’s visits, school, and anything else four kids under the age of 10 feel the need to do!

In my spare time (thank goodness for school days and naps!), I love to bake and read. Thank goodness I have a patient husband, because when we got married 12 years ago, I couldn’t cook, bake, or do much of anything in the kitchen! Now my passion in the kitchen really is making all kinds of baked goodies, cookies, pies, cheesecakes, the works. I love to read all kids of different genres, but I really love erotica, BDSM, anything dark and edgy!

I am a student working towards a BA degree in English and minors in French and Portuguese. I love learning new languages, and my next conquest will be, hopefully, Italian. I am originally from Brazil and have been in the U.S. for the past five years. But, my true nationality is Avid Reader. My taste ranges from the tame to the wild, and the hotter the better. Besides my love for new languages and cultures, and books of all genres, I love food, music, sports on the weekends, and frying my brain watching TV shows and movies (instead of studying of course) during the week. Bill is a Southern Gentleman by birth and training and a Renaissance Man through experience and education. He has degrees in Political Science and Mortuary Science and a lifelong interest in history, astronomy, environmental activism and progressive thought. Bill's hobbies include hiking wilderness trails, bird watching, biking, cooking and reading. Living in a log cabin in the mountains of Western North Carolina places Bill in the perfect location to pursue his hobbies and enjoy life.

Cheyenne loves to explore her secretive, dark side by reading erotic romance novels, especially BDSM, paranormal and menage. When she isn't immersed in her fantasy world of passion, floggers, vampires and M/F/M, she is a proud wife and mother to two children. Her love of reading was born in the eighth grade, when she picked up a Phyllis A. Whitney book to read for a book report. Since then, her tastes have evolved from romance, to Native American/Historical romance, to Romantic Suspense, to her current preferences. That isn't to say that a historical or romantic suspense won't fulfill her need, but she always goes right back to her true love of erotic romance.

Dakota hails from the home state of the Hawkeyes, corn and pigs. Surrounded by her kid's laughter and the corn fields, she splits her time between reading and crafting her stories. She enjoys writing romances and sci-fi/fantasy stories. She is a romantic at heart, so even the sci-fi stories have an underlying romantic plot. She started writing at the tender age of fourteen and hasn't stopped since, although it is a mystery to most where she finds the time to write. I have been a voracious reader since my first board book. Required reading for my careers during my years of gainful employment was vocationally motivational but not great fun. Once I became a woman of leisure and discovered the worlds of shifters, vampires, Chanku and demons quickly followed by the worlds of cowboys, ménage, BDSM, M/M, M/F/M, M/M/F, M/M/M/M/F, etc, reading became not only fun but inspirational. I am a much happier person for all my reading, and my husband smiles as never before.

I live in Sydney, Australia, and am married with 3 grown children who have all left home.........aaah, the serenity! I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember and I usually have more than one book being read at any given time. Jaime has been writing a her stories between men long enough to know better, but not nearly long enough to have told all the tales she has to tell. She splits her time between a day job that pays the bills and her writing that feeds her soul. She's also a mom, with a saint of a husband who keeps the kids fed and clothed and home schooled, and herself on a schedule that keeps her sane. She also reviews stories between men for the Dark Diva Reviews, and Yaoi novels for Kuriousity. The three cats in residence seem to approve of this arrangement enough to warm her toes at night and keep up a supply of mice from the backyard they think the family needs for survival. Who are we to argue?

Jordan Alexander is a married mother of two boys and lives in the Midwest. In addition to the human occupants, the house also is home to four dogs (two Lab mixes, one Rottweiler and one Beagle) and two cats. In her spare time, she reads almost anything and loves to cook for her family and friends. She also dreams of being an author herself and writes both alone and with others. She is a stay at home mom and loves it--almost as much as she does being left to herself to lose herself in a good book. She loves romance, all subgenres and all heat levels. Hi! I’m K. B., and I am pretty excited to be a Diva. My Prince Charming is active duty Air Force so we move around quite a bit. So far, we’ve lived in Florida, Idaho, Alaska, South Dakota, and currently, New Mexico. Prince Charming and I have been married for 23 years, and we have 2 wonderful sons-one is 21 and living in SD, and our youngest is 15 and will be with us a few more years. I’m an avid reader, and I switch back and forth between m/m, m/f, f/f. and pretty much any ménage combo. I read every genre except for sci fi or paranormal, and I read any time period except for futuristic. My books don’t need a HEA or a HFN because life just doesn’t work that way so why should my books? I love to read! I've been reading full length novels since 3rd grade. Matilda was my first novel length book I've read and I haven't looked back. From Amelia Bedelia to J.R. Ward, if it's good, I'll read it.
