My Review: We first meet Raine when she is about to board a cruise ship headed toward Mexico, she needs some time away to gather herself and this is her one chance to do so.As she makes her way through the ship, she encounters a beautiful Latin man and it is instant lust. She loves his body, the way smells and talks, but she doesn’t want to seem too eager.Miguel, in all his dapper goodness, comes up to her and expels all of the most over used words you could im
agine, but coming from him, it sounds like pure butter and Raine finds herself unwilling to tell him to get lost. So, when she puts her hand in his, she knows she will be lost to his charm, sexuality and body, forever.
I have to say I liked the book, but at the same time I have to say I thought I was watching a thirty minute soft porn movie on Cinemax. All the lines were there for Cinemax after dark, the hot guy, the beautiful girl, but somewhere in the mix of it all, we see Raine let loose and be free. She says she has never felt like this before, and I believe it to be true. Yes, Latin lover Miguel is all over her, but he still takes care of her, fulfills her needs,and by the time the cruise is done, we see he really, really wants her to stay.
So if you want that Cinemax feel with an edge and maybe some cheesy porn music thrown in, then this is the story for you. But if you want raunchy to the max, pick something else. Yes, you get the sex and everything that goes with it, but you also get a good story with a nice plot.
