My Review: Okay, this story not only appealed to the reader in me, but also the frustrated writer who knows all too well what happens when your muse suddenly deserts you. I wis
h all of us frustrated authors could have a sexy muse like Zahn show up on our doorsteps. I wouldn’t even bitch about the fact he was purple either. Ms. Cheever has written a delightful tale of a tormented muse who puts up with a smartmouthed parrot, and a vicious ex to help Lindsey overcome her block. Zahn is definitely a hero that will steal your heart because he’s willing to go through hell for his woman or even remain purple if need be. What can I say about Lindsey? Even though she’s the damsel in distress, she’s more than willing to give up fame and fortune to keep her man. Her character is strong even under distress.
The love scenes were definitely drool worthy and the fast pace had me finishing this in record time. The surprise twist in the end had me giggling and I will be definitely recommending this book to all my friends. I give Purple Prose 5 Delightful Divas and my recommended read for August!
