Summary: People say bad things about Dianne's parents that just aren't true; they're a vampire and werewolf...so?It's hard enough for Dianne to be fifteen and obviously to love her parents, even worse when there's something weird about them no one quite understands. Her father being a vampire and her mother being a werewolf is a simple fact of life. More worrisome are Mom and Dad getting sick for unknown reasons, the effect an accidental display of power is having on her social life, and the possibility that the boy next door thinks she's a freak. Matthew seems to like her, yet there's something off about him. Dr. Nat Silver, a vampire with several medical degrees, may provide some answers. For the most part Dianne feels it's her wit and devotion versus a world more cruel than any supernatural being could ever be.

Deb's Review: The Anghel's are not your ordinary family. You have a dad who is a vampire, a mom who is a werewolf and a daughter who is a shape shifter. All in all their lives become very interesting.

I must say that reviewing this book was one of the hardest books that I have reviewed, not because it was bad, but because it was uniquely good! This story is not sensually hot, but it has an amazing story line.

The characters are something special in their own way. While dealing with their oddities, they also have to deal with a real life problem. Even the undead will do anything to protect their own. Mr. and Mrs. Anghel deals with the issue of having AIDS, and they could lose Mrs. Anghel to the disease. Dianne is the main character of this book. She deals with being considered weird at school and her first sweet romance with Matt.

I, for one, will be delighted to read more of Donaya Haymond's work. The best line from this book is this, "Life bites, but I bite back." Even in the real world we should all remember this. Bite Me, is a fantastic Paranormal not to be missed! Donaya Haymond is a breath of fresh air for this reviewer, a true delight to read.

Rated 5 Delightful Divas by Deb!
