The Summoner by Alisha Steele
Publisher: Lyrical Press
Genre: Erotic Paranormal, BDSM, Ménage, M/F/M, F/M/F

Summary: The enemy may be his only hope...
Fallen angel Kasdeya hates all mortals. They’re little more than playthings, as far as he’s concerned. But when he finds himself facing a thousand-year prison sentence, he has no choice but to call on the one woman who might set him free: the Summoner.
His plan is simple...seduce her for his own purposes, then throw her away. If only she weren’t so argumentative, so intelligent. If only she weren’t so damned sexy!
My Review: The first thing about The Summoner by Alisha Steele that caught my attention was the cover. It is fantastic! Then I read the blurb and knew I just had to read this book. I had no idea I was going to be in for such an amazing and very erotic story.
Alexandra, aka Alex, is the Summoner. She is a tough little lady, and she proves that fact over and over throughout the book. I admired her strength, especially under pressure.
Kasdeya, aka Kas, was mesmerizing. He may be a Fallen Angel, but that didn’t stop the appeal that oozed from him. Kas had a selfish plan in store for the Summoner, but when he meets Alex, he can’t help but have feelings for her. I enjoyed watching Alex bring him to his knees.

The line-up of secondary characters was also phenomenal. Alisha Steele added just enough of them to enrich, but not hamper, the story. The flow is smooth and the pace is fast. I would imagine that some would have hang-ups about certain points of this book. The line between good and evil is a very thin line anyway, and in The Summoner, that line blurs even more. However, that didn’t stop me from being captivated by the characters or the plot. I loved every minute of The Summoner, and only wish I could have had more of Kas and Alex.
Just as a warning, this book does include BDSM, ménage a Trois, and some scenes with M/F/M and F/M/F with another male somewhat included. Did I mention that the sex was HAWT? Most definitely a very erotic and sensual tale! This is my first book by Alisha Steele, and I am certain it will not be my last.
