Dakota’s Review: Wow, is all I can say. For such a short story, Brynn Paulin has packed enough heat into Cruentus Dragons Book Two: Blood Bought that I’m surprised it didn’t melt my e-reader. I was
looking forward to a delightful tale of dragons and mating and got so much more. Athena is a pill and runs Jonah ragged trying to keep up with her. I love the spiciness of her and her determination to not be a “weak” mate. Although I could see her point of view in this story, I couldn’t help but cheer on Jonah. He’s an uber sexy male and I knew he’d make Athena see things his way…or I was prepared to throw the book across the room and do untold damage to my e-reader. Thankfully I didn’t have to resort to that.This is a very delicious story and a bit on the risqué side as far as how far Jonah is willing to go to claim her. While I’ve talked about the incredible chemistry between the main characters, please don’t think this is nothing more than erotica. Ms. Paulin has woven a deliciously dark plot. This reviewer will definitely be going back and reading the first book of this series and anxiously waiting for the next. There will be another, right, Brynn?
