Deb’s Review: Stormy Weather is a wonderful, touching book that had this reviewer reaching for the tissue box, cheering Lauren and Cole along. Nancy O'Berry is absolutely brilliant! She has captured just the right emotion for this book to draw the readers in. I, as a granddaughter of an amazing lady who dealt with breast cancer and won, am thankful for this book. Nancy O'Berry gives a story that depicts the real life of breast cancer, along with the ups and downs.

More importantly, it shows us love can endure anything as long as it's lasting.Lauren’s character is one that drew me to her. She felt real to me, like I could sit down and chat with her. As she took off the bandages, I felt her nervousness at what she would find. Do you ever get a catch in your breath knowing that something important is about to happen? That is what this moment felt like. Cole, sweet Cole, we need hundreds of this man in the real world. His compassion and charisma drew him to me, as well as his lighter side. He was easy to bond with and had a laid back feel to him. The second level characters—oh my goodness—I truly loved them! They helped keep this story flowing and fun. Breast cancer is serious business; we all need a little fun to balance out the scale of life.
In Stormy Weather you will find many things: an amazing plot line, characters you can connect with and unbelievable love stories, old and new. This is just one more example why Nancy O'Berry is not an author to be missed. She brings light and heart into her books as well as steamy passion. If you’re looking for a short heart warming story, this book is a must for you.The Foreword by Emma Harding at the start of this book is definitely worth reading.
