Some say love can build a bridge, but can forbidden love change the course of history between two species that have been enemies for over 500 years? Devlin Morgan is a shifter and believes with his heart and soul that werewolves don’t choose their mates. Fate does. So, imagine his surprise when he discovers that his attraction to Prince Zacarius Ivinovav is more than pure animal lust. Mesmerized by Prince Zacarius’ commanding presence, pale features, long, black hair, and deep amethyst eyes, Devlin can barely contain the desire and hunger that’s simmering below the surface. Although he’s heard rumors that vampires possess the ability to hypnotize people, Devlin can’t help but wonder whether or not his fascination with the Prince stems from hypnosis. Questioning the rumors that have spread over the centuries, Devlin is intrigued by the Prince who has dispelled a couple of those rumors within a mere hour of meeting him. But, when Devlin discovers that his mate, Prince Zacarius, has lied to him, will he continue to believe that Fate chooses their mates, or will he walk away and run the risk of being a lone wolf? Prince Zacarius is use to getting his way…after all, he is royalty. And when he meets Devlin, it becomes abundantly clear that he wants the sexy shifter. Some might call it love at first sight, while others might contend that it’s lust. Either way, these two sexy men from different worlds are unable to deny the hunger each has for one another. Unfortunately, for Prince Zacarius and Devlin several obstacles stand in their way. First of all, they’re of different species. Second, the vampires and werewolves have been at war for over five (5) centuries. Third, there’s a little white lie that both will have come to terms with in order to find their Happily Ever After. Devlin and the Blood Prince embark on a journey that has the potential to either bring peace between their species, or create another Great War. But, what happens when a lie by omission threatens Fate? Can vampires and werewolves co-exist as they did centuries ago? Only time will tell…

Just when I think Ms. Glenn’s stories can’t get any better, she proves me wrong and writes another story that warms the heart and makes me fall in love with the residents of Wolf Creek even more. Devlin, Prince Zac, Reece, Keely, Ben and the list goes on and on have truly become a part of my family. This story is about communication or the lack there of, forgiveness, and most importantly, love. Although it’s obvious that Ms. Glenn believes in the concept of soul mates and the idea that Fate chooses our mate, Blood Prince emphasizes that we still have to work at our relationship through communicating with one another and being honest. Blood Prince is a breath of fresh air. The plot of the story is realistic and the characters are not only believable, but also will capture your heart and never let go. The messages Ms. Glenn delivers in this story are absolutely brilliant. For instance, she stresses the importance that no one is guaranteed tomorrow, so it’s imperative that we cherish and love our soul mate to the fullest extent. Moreover, regardless of our species or social class, we are all equal. Therefore, we need to focus more on our similarities than our differences. Blood Prince will make you laugh at times, but it will also bring a tear to your eyes as you witness the trials, tribulations, and love that Devlin and Prince Zac experience. If you’re looking for a story that not only weaves a sensual spell, but also spins a tale of love lost and found, hearts healed and souls redeemed, and the pure ecstasy of forbidden love, then Blood Prince is the book to read. Bravo, Ms. Glenn for creating a world in which who you love is not as important as loving someone and being loved in return. Blood Prince is an exceptional story in which the characters will captivate you, the scorching, hot love scenes will enthrall you, and most importantly, emphasizes that love and forgiveness is all that matters. I would definitely recommend Blood Prince to my friends.
