Jae’s Review: Dakota Springs is the fourth book in Leah Brooke’s Dakota Heat series. I thought this was a great entry into this series; very different from the other stories, but maintaining the western/ranch theme. What I found interesting is that the story was also unique with its approach to a ménage. I don’t want to give anything away, but suffice to say these tough, hot, sexy cowboys didn’t grow up thinking they’d share their woman. I find this to be a unique perspective among ménage stories where, so often, it’s the intent of the men to share from the onset.
I thought the passion that the characters possessed for each other came through the pages very nicely. I was brought into Elizabeth’s life and could feel for her from the very beginning. Both Hayden and Chandler’s characters were tough, hot cowboys; the kind we love to read about and wrap ourselves around in a hot romance story. They had interesting and sexy ideas on how to make Elizabeth understand they were sincere in their desire for her—which made for a passionate and sexy story that propelled you through the pages to find out what would happen next.
I’ve been a fan of Leah Brooke’s writing for a while, and she has yet to disappoint me with her stories. So, if you like those tough, hot cowboys with sensitive sides and strong, feisty females that give them a run for their money, then you should definitely saddle up and get your copy of Dakota Springs today. I can’t imagine where you’d be disappointed.

Hi Tracey -- Leah Brooke wasn't new to me with this particular series. The first series I read from her was Desire, Oklahoma -- and I highly recommend that one. As you can see I rate this one highly too, as it's excellent, but the Desire, Oklahoma series will always hold first place for me, hands down. :)
