Falling Star by Olivia Brynn Publisher: Liquid Silver Books
Genre: Contemporary erotic romance
Review Copy Received from Publisher Summary: Adam Nash is a superstar. House, cars, money, women … he’s got it all. Yeah, he’s conceited, but with his looks and talent why shouldn’t he be? Not until he’s banned from another hotel for his drunken antics does he realize that it’s time to grow up and treat his music as a career and not a free ride.
Now Adam has set his sights on florist Jade Graham. She’s not the kind of woman he’s used to, she’s too smart to play the role of arm-candy. Adam is going to have to keep his celebrity status a secret for as long as possible, because what woman in her right mind would get attached to a playboy without a conscience? Jade Graham is going to be one tough case, but she seems hell bent on proving that there is more than one way for a star to fall
Kathy’s Review: I don’t know exactly what I expected from this story, but what I read was much richer in detail and emotion than I would have thought. Of course all that means is that now Olivia Brynn is on my list of authors to hunt out... er, books, I’ll be hunting out books!
Falling Star is very much Adam’s story, to start with anyways. Most of the changes in his life have already started – in a big way – but they’ve been on the inside. He knows that he’s got years of a poor reputation to overcome and, more importantly, he’s not blaming anyone other than himself. Adam’s prepared to do what he must to become the person that he wants to be.

Meeting Jade just gives him a stronger impetus to repair his lack of credibility. This is one of the things that I like best about Ms. Brynn’s story; he didn’t need to meet Jade before he began to turn his life around. This is something that he had done because he’d had enough of his ego and subsequent “star” behavior.
I really like Jade; she’s down-to-earth and she’s real. I also enjoyed, almost as much as did Adam that she didn’t have a clue as to who her new beau was. She was her normal, sweet, caring and wonderful self and she got to Adam faster than anyone had ever.
Oh and Jade’s best friend Dean? Oh dear heaven, a book all about him and his search for love? That would be just too wonderful.
All in all, Olivia Brynn has created in Falling Star a hero who is definitely worthy of the name, and a heroine who, just by being herself, adds so much to Adam’s life.
A beautiful romance and I sincerely enjoyed my introduction to this author’s writing.
