I will be the first to admit that I am a Claire Thompson fan. I first experienced BDSM through one of her books and have been hooked by the power of a romantic story of erotic exchange of power. Claire never fails to blow me away with her character driven tales, which are always very emotional and real-to-life.
Claire really knocked it out of the park with Heart of Submission. She gave me just enough plot and history on the characters to understand who they are and why. The true focus of the story was Kate’s journey to finally becoming a whole person when she completely gives herself to Chase; and, it was also about Chase’s healing after a dark relationship that ended traumatically. I loved getting to know them and their deepest sorrows and secrets. I enjoyed even more going along with them as they healed and taught one another and came together in perfect union. Heart of Submission is an emotional book that will remain with me for a long time to come.
Other Claire Thompson fans will find Heart of Submission a perfect example of her amazing talent, and hopefully those of you looking to find a new author will give her a chance to knock your socks off!
