Summary: When Taran Lorenz enters Clay Stevens's life, Clay is still reeling after his long-time partner, Javier, abruptly ended their relationship. Taran gives Clay the motivation to start living again, but Clay's insanely jealous ex threatens to nip their relationship in the bud... only Taran won't give up, even when Javier gets their mutual employer, the manipulative billionaire Vincent Torres, to mark Taran for "removal."
It's the start of a fight on three fronts: Javier confessing his continued love for Clay while he tries to run Taran off, Taran fighting to be loved and accepted for who he is—not what he is—after magically returning from the dead, and Clay trying to figure out how he got stuck in this fairy tale of monumental proportions and where he can find the happily-ever-after ending.

Helen’s Review: Sculpting Clay by Linda Reilly has so much going for it that its hard to know where to begin, especially without giving anything away. Before I start I just have to mention how much I loved the gorgeous cover by Anne Cain, a very talented artist.

Ms Reilly has created some wonderfully likeable characters in Clay and Taran, both with their own distinct personalities and quirks. Taran is such a sweetheart, you can’t help but fall in love with him. The major secondary characters are just as well developed as the main characters. Even though I started out not liking Javier in the beginning, by the end of the book I was really hoping that Ms Reilly writes a sequel so that he can have his own HEA. One of the minor characters that I just loved was Fiona. She only has a couple of brief appearances but she made me smile.

Sculpting Clay’s plot has many layers with lots to hold the readers attention. There are bits of heartache and angst, intrigue, bad guys with interesting ways of getting what they want and so much more including some great romance and hot sex. The paranormal aspect of the story, well that’s a secret and you will have to read the book to find out what it is, but I loved it and I hope you will too. I will definitely be looking out for further books by Linda Reilly.
