Alien Mate caught my attention right away, thanks to those ripped blue abs on the cover! I absolutely loved Eve Langlais’ narrative voice. Loved! This was a laugh out loud read that maintained enough depth to create a sweet romance.

Kor is chosen as one of the lucky few granted a mate on his world. When he travels to earth to collect his woman, he’s disappointed that she’s being so difficult. Though he's physically attracted to the female and her lush curves, he can't understand how she could be his soul mate when he specifically asked for a mild tempered woman.  Kor is extremely likeable. He’s gorgeous, caring, has strong morals, and is hung like a horse.
Diana fights being taken away from everything she’s ever known. Of course, there isn’t much to leave behind in her pathetic life on earth. She soon realizes that a mating with Kor may not be too bad.

I loved the first half of this book as the reluctant Diana and Kor get to know each other. Diana's inner dialogue was priceless. There are plenty of hot sex scenes once our heroine gives in to her desires. A short lull in the middle is followed by heart stopping suspense until the end.

Alien Mate was a great, romantic sci-fi read that was fun and humorous to read. I eagerly wait for Eve Langlais’ next release because I’m sure to be entertained.
