Jae’s Review:

Gripping from the very first page, A Proper Seduction by HelenKay Dim, didn’t let up until the very end. This is a short story and I wasn’t expecting to really get inside the heads of our hero and heroine, but I did. The reader is drawn immediately into Lauren’s life and you’re rooting for her throughout the story.

The blurb tells us that Justin screwed up with Lauren—although that might be a massive understatement—and our heroine has every reason to dislike him. I thought the author did a great job of making our hero suffer enough, but not too much, and getting us all to a completely reasonable happily-ever-after even though that looked impossible along the way. But that’s what makes this story so great…that you don’t know what Lauren and Justin are going to do from one moment to the next.

A Proper Seduction is a short story, but there are a lot of hot and spicy erotic scenes included. The scenes are descriptive, varied and scorching hot. HelenKay Dim certainly has a way with a bedroom scene, that’s for sure.

This is my first book by this author, but I’m certain it won’t be my last. If you like dramatic relationships, strong heroines, and super hot lovemaking, then A Proper Seduction is definitely a book to run out and buy.
