I was really impressed with Heartless by Nathalie Gray. This paranormal story had a sci-fi flare to it, but Nathalie did a great job making it all about the romance. I had gooey feelings for both the hero and heroine and wanted to jump right in there and help them out.

Gaius was cursed for breaking his wife's heart and has been suffering for over two thousand years. Through all the years, he keeps hoping to break the curse, but no good ever comes to those who try to help him.

No one can see the "curse" that follows Gaius. Then he realizes that Anne-Marie can see it and knows there may finally be hope to break the curse.

Nathalie does a fabulous job showing the emotion between the characters and makes you feel like you could be right there with them. This story is not all about the sex. I was really glad to see that, although they did have sex, it was more about the romance. I highly recommend Heartless and will definitely be back to read more from Nathalie Gray!
