Shelly's Review:

Love Me Tomorrow is a futuristic sci-fi romance revolving around Commander Shalene trying to save those of earth from extinction. Shalene and her team are fighting lizard-type reptiles and they find what appears to be a traitor in the midst, helping the reptiles. Shalene and her team take Mecah as their hostage. As soon as Mecah sees Shalene, he's enthralled. He's never seen a woman so beautiful and knows it's kismet and they're soul mates. That's a nice concept, but I feel that the story went way too quickly for that. The story itself was great, but because of its length, it lacked depth in regards to the develop of the characters relationship with one another.

Commander Shalene had orders to seduce Captain Mecah to get the information they needed from him. Again, good concept for a romance, but somewhat unrealistic even though this is a sci-fi story. In my opinion there were times that I felt the author was pushing the story line a tad bit in spite of it being fantasy driven.

I enjoyed the in depth imagination of Ms. Painter, but I wish it would have been a little longer and the characters could have had more time to get to know each other before they fell head over heels in love with one another. Even though you may know you're supposed to be together, you still need time to actually fall in love.

The overall story was good. I've enjoyed other Sally Painter books and will definitely read more from her.

Rated 4 Delightful Divas by Shelly!
