Summary:

I have had a love affair with Dakota Trace since I first read one of her novels about six months ago. Her writing and characters are only getting better and better with each new piece I can get my hands on. Nisey’s Awakening holds the steam, magic, and captivation of some of the best romance writers I have had the privilege to read. This book is one of those pieces that possess the power to change you as a person. It seems fantastical, I know, but it did, it changed my very perspective of erotic fiction in that I can no longer accept anything less than the devotion that Dakota Trace gives her novels in anything else I read.

The characters in this story are the types of people you want to hang out with because they are honorable and true to their beliefs. There are so many aspects of this book that appeal to a person’s soul: retribution, healing, love, trust, friendship and family. The pages flew by and this is a pretty sizeable book. I found myself at the end before I even realized it. Sadly, when there is nothing left you feel like you are going to cry because you don’t want to leave the characters behind.

Everything about this story is amazing. It doesn’t overwhelm someone who doesn’t know much about the BDSM lifestyle in that it’s actually on the tame end of BDSM. Speaking of the BDSM, this book practically boils. It is one of the most erotic books I have ever read in my entire life.

I love everything about this story and I can’t wait until the next book in this series comes out. Dakota, I bow at your feet, this work is simply amazing!
