Can Poppy find the courage to risk triple the love -- and triple the heartbreak?
Poppy Maguire is tired of being a loser. Emotionally neglected as a child, she wants to find the courage to leave her family and the job she hates. She desperately wants to make a change. Little does she realize how much of a change sexy brothers Cody, Michael and Trevor Paraby will bring to her life when the friendly shoulders they offer turn into so much more.
Comfort turns to passion and Poppy learns what life could be like in the arms of not one, but three men who love her. But what happens when the pink line on a pregnancy test doubles and she's expecting twins, courtesy of one of a Parabys?
The brothers blow her mind by offering her the family and love she's always longed for. But do they realize what they're in for? Cody is moving a little too fast, Michael may not be in for the long haul, and Trevor is a bit self-centered.
In order for Poppy to have the extraordinary love she fears she hasn't earned, everyone is going to have to do some growing. But can she break free from the bad seed of her abusive family and have the courage to bloom?
Donna's Review:
Let me begin by saying, I love Poppy’s Passion!
We all know someone who has had a really tough life. It isn’t simply that they have had a few difficulties or a few rough spots; it is as though nothing in their life has been easy or even remotely fair. Poppy, the protagonist in Poppy’s Passion, is just such a person. She has been knocked down again and again but has somehow managed to preserve her sweet heart, her sense of hope and her gentle spirit. This terrific story is about the journey Poppy takes to leave behind a life of horrendous emotional abuse to reach the point of accepting that she deserves to be cherished and loved by three extraordinary men who recognize Poppy as the woman they want to be with forever.
The men in this book are magnificent. Even though they are brothers, Michael, Cody and Trevor, are unique individuals. They have distinct personalities, varied interests and diverse careers, but they are of one mind when it comes to loving Poppy. The men were born and raised in a loving and successful plural marriage and they want the same lifestyle with Poppy. Surrounded by their love and support as well as being bolstered by the men’s parents, Poppy begins her journey.

Speaking of the parents, Mary, Paul, Thomas and Duane, I really hope Stephanie Beck will consider writing a book that tells the full story of their lives together. As supporting characters in Poppy’s Passion, they bring an honesty and realism that expands and enhances the story. The girl talks that Poppy and Mary have where Poppy expresses her concerns about the future and Mary shares that a plural marriage can be fabulous, but that not everything will be easy, were beautifully written. And I was moved to tears by the description of Duane’s struggles as the result of his experiences as a Vietnam War Veteran. The warmth, love and patience Mary, Paul and Thomas offered to Duane during that difficult time was extraordinary and, in some ways, served as a precursor to Poppy’s journey to her men.
Poppy’s Passion has a permanent place on my ‘Feel Good’ bookshelf where I keep the books I want to reread when I need a lift, when I need to smile, and when I need to be reminded that love wins and Happily Ever After is available to us all. Thanks to Stephanie Beck for a fabulous book!
