Pirate's Promise is another great read from Laurie Ryan and is the sequel to Stolen Treasures. I couldn't put it down because it had romance, suspense, and a sexy hero…that's like icing on an already delicious cake!
Hawk and Julia would appear to be a mismatched couple, but Laurie Ryan wove the pair together so smoothly I was amazed. Her writing flows beautifully and appears effortless. There is an abundance of sexual tension that keeps you just as "on edge" as the characters. I didn't think it lacked anything and I thought it was very well written.
When I read Stolen Treasures, I knew that I just had to read the sequel, Pirate's Promise. I'm so happy I did! Both books went well together, but can also stand alone with no problem whatsoever.
This is only the second book I've read from Laurie Ryan, but I hope to read many more. Her stories are pleasantly romantic, full of adventure, and a whole lot of fun! I highly recommend Pirate's Promise by Laurie Ryan!
