Bear Necessities by Dana Marie Bell starts off the Halle Shifters series with a bang! This is going to be one rockin' series if this first book is any indication. It is full of laughter and entertaining dialogue as well as a suspenseful plot that keeps you turning page after page.

I can't say enough good things about this story. The character development is great. I loved that our shifters include Bears and the descriptions were just wonderful…really pulled you into the storyline and kept you there all the way through.

I found it interesting (keep in mind this is my first Dana Marie Bell book) that many of the characters in the story were already mated, and I kept thinking 'oh man, I'd love to see how they got together'. Little did I know that there is another series that covers those characters. Needless to say, I can't wait to hunt those stories down.

But don't worry in the least…you don't need that series to start this one. I didn't feel left out or confused at any point in time. But I will say that I'm looking forward to finding out how those other characters ended up together.

And I can't wait to see how the rest of these Bears get together in this series…oh and the Foxes. Yep, it's a whole different world in Halle.

I think Bears may be my new favorite shifters. 

If you like shifter stories with suspense, action, emotional connections between the characters, and a little humor on the side (well…not too far on the side *smiles*) then you should definitely try Dana Marie Bell's latest shifter book, Bear Necessities. I sure hope book 2 in the Halle Shifter series gets here soon!
