Summary : Brogan Wilder knows all about animal urges. As a coyote shifter, he’s lived with them all his life but he’s never experienced the bone-deep hunger Eloise Crawford elicits. Claiming a mate is one thing. Claiming one who’s human and has no idea shifters exist is another matter altogether. In El, he’s found his destiny. Now he just has to convince her they are meant to be together.

A visit to help her best friend with wedding plans seems like just the kind of relaxation El is after. But once she arrives, there’s nothing relaxing about the reaction she has to her friend’s brother. Suddenly her senses are on high alert and she’s drawn to him in a way she finds nothing short of terrifying. But there’s more to this man than his golden eyes and magical touch. There’s something else. Something not exactly human.

Accepting her fate should have been the difficult part, but when El finds herself the target of an outraged pack member, the true struggle begins.

Deb’s Review : Coyote Wild, book two in the coyote hunger series, picked right up where book one, Coyote Home, left off. This made it easy for the reader to pick up and move with the story line. Rhian Cahill has given readers, yet again, a book we can sink our teeth into.

El and Brogan’s story is anything but tame. These two give a new meaning to 'when their eyes meet their inner animal comes out to play'. I think these two characters are going to haunt me till I get to the end of this series. *grin*

Brogan is the head of the pack. His character is strong, but he does have a softer side that I think the readers will enjoy. He has his own battles, which come to light as you read on.

Eloise is unique is her own way to me. When she finds out the truth about Brogan, she is calm and cool and accepting. I thought for sure we would see a little more of her dealing with the facts of mating a shifter. Ms. Cahill answered that question for me, when it came known that El was always intrigued by Mythical things.

The plotline is full of suspense. The fight scenes are fabulous! El surprises everyone including this reviewer. I think Ms. Cahill has something up her sleeve about Eloise. I cannot wait to read the next installment to find out. She is stronger, powerful now. What’s her secret?

There are a few secondary characters that stood out in both book 1 and 2 that have my attention. I wonder what Gordie and Steve’s story is? Will they have a romance? I just have to know what Gordie’s secret is. What happened all those years ago?

Come on Rhain, what do you have in store for us next?

If you enjoy a little action and a lot of steam then pick up Coyote Wild by Rhain Cahill it is well worth diving into.

Note: It would be better to read book #1 Coyote Home first.
